Project engineering supporting broad range of industrial automation control equipment including servo drives, motion controllers, PLCs, Industrial PCs and display panels including support for clients subject to FDA manufacturing regulations. Design system layouts, schematics and control devices, including CTI controller hardware, for automated systems for clients subject to FDA manufacturing regulations; process control instrumentation and system configuration using Siemens APT for FDA regulated manufacturing industries. Develop and design controls software packages and software to control Siemens controllers using Source Insight; Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human/Machine Interfaces (HMI) and Personal Computer (PC) based systems. Provide solutions for Data Acquisition Systems. Utilize software tools designed for manufacturing environment including Structured Text, Ladder Logic, Sequential Flow Chart (SFC), Function Block Diagram (FBD). Utilize CTSoft drive configuration software tool for commissioning, optimizing and monitoring Control Techniques drives. Coordinate with customer engineers on field changes, manufacturer sales representatives and service personnel and vendors to consider new or modifications to existing equipment and resolve problems. Provide real time visual, audio, hard and / or soft copy alarm data to personnel. Use communication network protocols (CIP, CAN, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Allen Bradley DF-1, EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profibus) for process and industrial automation. Design controls systems including motion, vision, robotics and supervisory control and data acquisition. Perform engineering support for start-up, validation and commissioning of the control system. Requires Bachelor in Electrical Engineering and five years of experience as electrical engineer with manufacturing control system support. Experience to include Siemens APT for FDA regulated manufacturing industries; Source Insight; Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human/Machine Interfaces (HMI) and Personal Computer (PC) based systems (not in any of his letters); Structured Text, Ladder Logic, Sequential Flow Chart (SFC), Function Block Diagram (FBD); CTSoft drive configuration software; use of communication network protocols to include DF-1.
